Interfaith Community Partners
Interfaith Community Partners provides older adults with safe, accompanied transportation to medical appointments, therapies, and life-enhancing errands. Our generous donors and network of kindhearted volunteers allow us to provide these services at no cost to clients.
ICP was founded in 1999 and became a 501(c)3 organization in 2000 to address the plight of isolated older adults in our communities. With grants from Community Memorial Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (Faith in Action), local church congregations formed ICP to enhance the mobility of older adults, keeping them better connected with their communities and living quality lives. These churches still partner with ICP to recruit volunteers, identify older adults who could benefit from our services, and provide financial support.
In 2019, ICP volunteers provided over 4,200 rides, over 29,800 miles, to our 300+ clients. Our clients and communities served continue to grow; and we need your help to secure safe, reliable respectful transportation for the older adults we serve.
