Frida Kahlo: Timeless and the Power of Collaboration
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT ENDS ON OCTOBER 1
Diana Martinez -- Executive Director of the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) at the College of DuPage -- was instrumental in bringing in arguably the biggest and most famous art exhibit in the history of DuPage County: Frida Kahlo: Timeless.
Kahlo lived an outspoken life; her artwork, politics and relationships all existed in opposition to the cultural norms and expectations and she was, in many ways, ahead of her time. Diana will explore this cultural icon and what we can learn from her today. Diana will also discuss what she has learned in her 30 years of experience as an entertainment executive and will share how collaboration has been key to her success.
In addition to her success at the MAC, Diana also spent several years as the President of Second City, Executive Director of the Paramount Theater in Aurora and Pheasant Run Resort. She has given over 100 talks on corporate creativity, collaboration and communication.
