What drew you to this position at the WSCCI?
After 15 years of staying home with my children, I felt it was time for me to join the workforce again. When I learned that Susan was moving out of state, I felt like this would be a perfect opportunity for me.
What is something you look forward to accomplishing in this position?
As a former small business owner, I realize the importance of developing relationships in the community through the Chamber. A strong small business community is essential to the health of a community. I hope to I hope to help more businesses realize the importance of our Chamber and take advantage of all the Chamber has to offer.
What is your all-time favorite quote?
If you want the rainbow, you need to put up with the rain
I know you’ve traveled quite a bit; do you have a favorite place you visited?
Before kids and a mortgage, my husband and I spent five months travelling around the world. My two favorite places were Nepal and Vietnam.
2020 was quite a year. What was your silver lining?
Because of Covid, all of our summer vacation plans were cancelled and that allowed my whole family to plan a last-minute trip together to a lake house in MI the week before my father died. It was a blessing.
