Advertising Opportunities
There are a number of ways that the Chamber can aid in your company's advertising plan.
MEMBERS EMAILS
Once a week, the Chamber sends out a "Member-to-Members" email to all Chamber members. This email is full of advertisements for members, and also includes a list of up-coming events. Ads run on a per-week basis and are competitively priced.
NEWSLETTERS
The Chamber sends out a monthly newsletter filled with articles relating to business, up-coming events, and other news relating to our area. We accept a limited number of articles written by Chamber members as well. Why not write an article about your field of business or your specific business? Members will read your article and you will be known as the expert in your field.
HOST AN EVENT
By hosting a Business After Hours event, you get some time to shine the spotlight directly at you and your business. BAH's as we like to call them, are an opportunity to invite people to your company or organization, show them what you do, and network. For these events, the Chamber will help you pick a date, promote it, and take reservations; the rest is up to you. Some choose to serve appetizers and drinks, and hold a business card raffle, some choose to provide water and soda. All hosts will have an opportunity to speak at the event. BAH's are a great way to meet a lot of people and make a lot of connections. Hold the event in the morning and turn it in to a Business Before Hours!
SPONSOR AN EVENT
The Chamber hosts many events over the course of a year, and all of them are swimming with sponsorship opportunities. Whether you place an ad in a program, or choose to be a presenting sponsor of an event, your name will be seen by business leaders and others in the area who can bring you business. There are four main events held every year by the Chamber:
- Awards Dinner: Nominations are accepted and winners announced for area business leaders and businesses that exhibit exceptional leadership, ethics, and responsibility to community. Awards are also awarded to outstanding high school students for their work in the community. Opportunities include: Program ads, raffle prize donations, and major sponsorships.
- Golf Outing: Who doesn't enjoy a day on the golf range making business contacts between tees? Our annual outing is an all-day event beginning with eye-openers in the morning and ending with a lovely dinner and raffle. Sponsorships include, but are not limited to: Cart Sponsors, Hole Sponsors, Contest Sponsors, Breakfast Sponsors, Lunch Sponsors, Dinner Sponsors, On-Course Refreshment Sponsors, and raffle prize donations, as well as major sponsorships.
- Harvest Breakfast: Our Harvest Breakfast is a celebration of partnerships between business and non-profit organizations. Much can be accomplished from recognizing and teaming up with each other, and this event highlights the work of both the Chamber and the Chamber's Foundation to create symbiotic relationships between for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations. Opportunities include: Program ads and major sponsorships.
- Holiday Luncheon: One always needs a good balance of work and play, and at the Holiday Luncheon, members get both! Good food and great company, set in a beautifully decorated venue. This event also holds as our annual member meeting; a time to hear what the Chamber has accomplished over the last year and what to look forward to in the future. Opportunities include: raffle and goodie bag donations, as well as major sponsorships.
We also have numerous advertising opportunities for other events during the year, such as our New Teacher's Welcome Breakfast, Computer Recycling Drive, and more!
